Installation Technician; NO CDL

PBNA $25.55 / hour

• Monday–Friday day shift
• Occasional weekend and evening work as needed

This position delivers and installs vending/fountain equipment as needed. The role involves lifting and operating equipment to load, unload, and move large fountain machines/units at customer accounts. The individual prepares equipment for delivery and maintains all paperwork associated with installation and removal. The job also includes installing fountain beverage systems from start to finish, and may involve assisting with moving, storing, and organizing equipment in inventory at the facility.

The position requires lifting, pushing/pulling, and moving vending/fountain machines that weigh approximately 800–1200 pounds several times over a 10‑12 hour shift.

• Unload and load new and used vendors or fountain for daily delivery
• Install vendors and load/reload with products as necessary
• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on vending/fountain equipment
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures
• Collect accurate and complete equipment information
• Maintain parts, tools, and equipment
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate customer/work order records for each delivery
• Transport miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycle, etc.
• Fill install and adjust to proper mix of product
• Follow DOT regulations
• Establish positive customer relationships
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

• Minimum age 18 years; 21 or older if CDL required
• Valid U.S. CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)
• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable)
• Follow DOT regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively in English if CDL required

NOTE:

In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.

• Experience with mechanical systems (troubleshooting and repairing appliances, basic plumbing, circuits, fuses, electrical components, hand tools, power tools)
• Ability to generate and set work schedules, prioritize work projects, and schedule daily tasks
• Experience operating trucks requiring a CDL Class B license (driving forwards, backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces)
• Experience serving customers (resolving issues, communicating with store managers, following up on requests)
• Experience completing basic paperwork (timecards, mileage logs, documentation for supervisors)
