About the Position
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $54.00/Hourly.

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled, sympathetic Speech Pathologist to provide quality care for our patients. The speech pathologist will perform screenings, assess patient condition, and design therapy and treatment plans to help the patient develop necessary speech skills. You should be caring and knowledgeable about speech-related conditions and therapies.

Responsibilities:

Perform direct patient care: assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Complete patient documentation, including initial evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge reports.

Contact insurance companies regarding benefits.

Prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions.

Provide education to staff, including nurses, physicians, dietitians, and food service workers, regarding results and recommendations following evaluations and providing guidance based on the most up-to-date research.

Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff.

Collaborate with healthcare providers in order to provide patient-centered treatment.

Clean treatment rooms following sessions.

Provide reminder calls to patients.

Aid patients and families in navigating the hospital.

Requirements
Requirements:

1 - Year experience Required,

BLS Certification,

SLP License.
