About the Position
Registered Dietitian
Mauston, WI | Permanent | Full-Time | Normal Urgency
Schedule:
Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (80 hours per pay period)
Weekend/Holiday Rotation:
None
Position Summary
Join our Health Sciences / Nutrition Services team as a Registered Dietitian in Mauston, WI. Deliver nutrition assessments, medical nutrition therapy, and education to inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care patients. New grads encouraged to apply no weekends required!
Key Responsibilities
Provide nutrition assessments and medical nutrition therapy to inpatient and long-term care patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and counsel patients and families on nutrition needs
Participate in nutrition risk programs, diabetes committee, and care-planning committees
Provide outpatient nutrition counseling and education
Teach heart-healthy nutrition classes for Cardiac Rehab patients
Support dialysis clinics by reviewing labs, providing nutrition counseling, and coordinating with nephrology teams
Monitor regulatory nutrition measures and participate in quality meetings
Precept dietetic interns as assigned
Maintain dietetic registration and licensure requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor s degree in Dietetics from an accredited program
Completion of ACEND-accredited supervised practice program
Successful completion and maintenance of CDR national registration
Active Wisconsin Certified Dietitian license
Valid driver s license
1 year or less of related experience required (new grads encouraged)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Intermediate computer proficiency, including EMRs and Microsoft Office
Ability to assess and interpret laboratory values
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
