What Does a Residential Operations Supervisor Do?As a Residential Operations Supervisor at Pine Valley Residential Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing our dedicated direct care teams in our Adult Family Home facilities. This position requires you to collaborate closely with a supervisory team, providing onsite supervision and management to ensure high-quality support for our residents. You will engage in vital administrative functions and serve as a crucial support resource under the guidance of the Executive Team.
Your primary goal will be to foster an environment that guarantees quality programming for our clients, while also training and leading our direct care teams. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to our leadership staff, ensuring that we maintain compliance with licensing requirements and uphold the highest standards of excellence in care for adults in Assisted Living and Long Term Care settings.

First and foremost, experience in working with adults in Assisted Living and Long Term Care settings is vital, as it equips you with the understanding needed to support and guide team members effectively. Strong leadership and communication skills will enable you to collaborate seamlessly with direct care teams while providing clear direction and mentorship.
Experience with developing and implementing individualized care plans, behavioral interventions and crisis management are essential. Proficiency in various software tools utilized for effective management and administrative tasks, ensuring that documentation and compliance standards are met with precision.
Additionally, problem-solving abilities and a compassionate approach will allow you to address resident's needs while fostering a positive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational knowledge, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering excellence in care for adults in our facilities.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Minimum of Associate Degree in Human Services or similar field.
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience overseeing at least 15 direct reports
- Working with adults in assisted living and long term care
