Travel Registered Nurse OB​/GYN

Overview

Registered Nurse – OB/GYN, Mauston, Wisconsin, United States. 13‑week travel assignment starting 07/06/2026. Night shift, 12‑hour shifts (3x12) with guaranteed 22 hours per week. Work includes maternal and newborn care across OB/GYN, with potential cross‑training to Med/Surg or EICU as needed in a short‑term care environment.

• Provide quality nursing care for maternal and newborn patients and collaborate with the care team.
• Complete initial histories, assess conditions, and develop individualized plans of care; triage as needed.
• Accurately administer medications and monitor labor progression; manage labor induction and cervical ripening as indicated.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies (prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, precipitous delivery, uterine rupture, meconium) and manage fetal monitoring.
• Monitor fetal heart rhythms; communicate findings and status changes to the provider; support appropriate interventions.
• Assess newborn condition, recognize heightened surveillance needs, perform neonatal resuscitation within scope, and educate families on newborn care and safety. Cross‑train to Med/Surg or EICU when required.

• Wisconsin Registered Nursing license (active).
• Two‑year degree in nursing required; four‑year degree preferred.
• AHA BLS within 1 month of hire; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• STABLE within 1 year of hire;
  Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire.
• Experience:
  
  An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Cross‑training to Med/Surg or EICU when needed.

• Weekly pay range: $2,031–$2,084 per week.
• Guaranteed hours: 22 per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Travel assignment support through the staffing organization.
