Charge Nurse - Nursing

Schedule:

Night Shifts (6pm-6:30am) every other weekend, Holiday Rotation as needed.

Requirements:

• Two-year degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Must hold and maintain a Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required or obtained within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC encouraged.
• 3+ years related work experience required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee communication related to the coordination of patient care across the facility.
• Conduct daily rounding in departments to assess and facilitate patient transfers.
• Lead the team in maintaining a professional work environment by mentoring and answering staff questions.
• Assist with determining proper patient placement and provide direct care as needed.
• Help with after-hours Pharmacy needs and staffing coordination between departments.
• Manage Incident Command during Mass Casualty Incidents.
