• Provide quality, professional nursing care to a mixed patient population in Med Surg and EICU, following the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, document, evaluate).
• Monitor patient condition, respond to changes, notify providers of significant changes, and manage life‑threatening situations per policy and standards.
• Administer medications (including IV therapy) with high accuracy; document in the EMR; verify orders and ensure timely execution.
• Initiate and document patient/family education, discharge planning, and coordination of care with the health team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; delegate tasks appropriately; maintain a safe, infection‑controlled environment.
• Observe, record, and communicate significant events or reaction to treatments; adapt care plans to changing patient needs.

• Wisconsin RN license (active)
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PALS encouraged
• Must be comfortable with both Med Surg and eICU patient populations
• Intermediate computer skills; proficient with EMR and order verification
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, travel assignment and adapt to changing unit needs
