Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is hiring an Infusion RN for a full time day shift position requiring active WI RN or compact licensure and chemotherapy certification.

• Active WI RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain WI license within 90 days of start if on Compact)
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 1 month of hire
• ACLS required, or must be obtained within 1 year of hire
• Current ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card required, or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Strong knowledge of IV therapy, vascular access management, and chemotherapy safety protocols

• Provides specialized infusion nursing care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic agents, and blood products
• Full time day shift schedule Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
• Manages vascular access devices including ports, PICC lines, and central lines
• Documents treatment administration and patient responses in electronic medical records
• Assess patient condition before, during, and after treatments and monitor for adverse reactions such as allergic reactions or extravasation
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV and injectable medications following strict hazardous drug handling protocols
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
• Provide emotional support to patients throughout the treatment process
