Quality Technician

As a Quality Technician at Master Mold
, you’ll be an important part of keeping quality at the center of our manufacturing process. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with production, inspect products throughout the manufacturing process, identify defects and quality concerns, and help the team get to the root of problems before they reach our customers.

You won’t spend your entire day behind a desk reviewing reports. You’ll be out on the production floor, working alongside operators, leads, supervisors, engineers, and other members of the Quality team to understand what’s happening in real time and help drive solutions.

Perform inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality requirements.

Identify defects, trends, and potential quality concerns and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.

Work directly with production employees, leads, supervisors, and other departments to investigate quality issues and support corrective actions.

Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.

Use quality inspection tools, measurement equipment, and systems to evaluate products and track results.

Assist with troubleshooting and root-cause investigations when quality concerns arise.

Support the development and improvement of quality procedures, standards, and processes.

Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on reducing defects, improving consistency, and strengthening overall product quality.

Help reinforce quality expectations and best practices throughout the manufacturing process.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, inspection, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with quality inspection tools, measurement techniques, and basic quality processes.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize inconsistencies or defects.

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with employees at different levels of the organization.

Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

Quality-related certification or training, such as Six Sigma or ISO 9001.

Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Experience investigating defects, supporting root-cause analysis, or participating in corrective actions.
