Job Summary

Title: Pricing Coordinator
Reports to: Guest Service Department Manager

Responsibilities
  • Reinforce Festival culture, customer service, and performance expectations to all pricing associates.
  • Provide consistent practices within the pricing software that supports Festival Foods price image. Investigate and resolve inaccuracies; respond with clear and honest feedback.
  • Maintain adequate staff levels by interviewing applicants and extending job offers when necessary.
  • Coach and train new pricing associates on policies and procedures for department standards, including SMS pricing software, pricing handhelds and Nexgen 365.
  • Participate in performance and development reviews and annual goal setting for yourself and team members.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Support Team to keep the pricing manual and sign program current.
  • Finalize and approve weekly work schedules for pricing associates, writing and executing a weekly department schedule based on needs.
  • Document violations of company policies/procedures by pricing associates and conduct appropriate corrective action, up to termination.
  • Hold department managers and vendors accountable for meeting pricing standards, working directly with department manager and Store Director.
  • Review verification results weekly to identify gaps, address incorrect stocking with department manager, and communicate results to Pricing Support Team.
  • Assist guests to find items on the sales floor.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues when a guest is not satisfied.
  • Use the Boomerang Basics to coach and develop all team members, preparing associates for advancement opportunities.
  • Contribute to overall department cleanliness by picking up, organizing, and cleaning work areas.
  • Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice for absences.
Qualifications
  • High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle situations.
  • Basic knowledge of computer functions and Microsoft Suite products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods; requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity.
  • Frequent bending at or below waist level, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder level.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with daytime shifts 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, occasional evenings/weekends, and Wednesdays starting at 3:00 AM.
