Ecological - Project Manager

Overview

As an Ecological Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Cleveland, OH office, you will provide leadership within project teams to help clients in the power, oil & natural gas, and varied commercial markets achieve their project and operational objectives. You’ll supervise staff ecologists and environmental scientists, lead projects, and contribute to the growth of a new and expanding team in the Northeast Ohio region.

• Bachelor's degree in an environmental or natural resources program such as Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science, Forestry, Fisheries or a similar technical field
• 8+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: environmental planning (NEPA/FERC); wetland and stream delineations, permitting, and mitigation; threatened & endangered species consultations and surveys; or ecosystem restoration
• Ability and willingness to develop, market, and expand CEC's services to existing and new clients, particularly Electric Transmission/Distribution and Fiber Optic clients
• Experience in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and/or West Virginia state and federal permitting
• Ability and willingness to provide mentorship to junior staff of ecologists
