Senior Ecological Professional – Cleveland, OH

This role leads the Ecological Practice, managing projects and expanding business through existing network and internal resources.

• Develop and market services to energy, solid waste, oil/gas, manufacturing, public sector, mining, and real estate markets.
• Manage multiple activities, technical professionals, and a targeted client base.
• Provide senior technical expertise and mentoring to staff and managers in the ecological practice.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with state and federal regulators.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of experience in aquatic ecology, threatened and endangered species consultation, environmental planning (NEPA/FERC), or environmental permitting and reporting.
• Knowledge of Section 401, 402, 404 Federal Clean Water Act Regulations.
• Experience working with agencies such as EPA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
• Strong writing skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
• Effective management of multiple activities and technical teams.
