Job Description
Internships within Lifecycle Services (LCS) provide unique opportunities to develop your engineering, analytical, and customer-centric skills.
As a Cyber Professional Services Intern
, you will...
Monitor network dashboards and alerts for customer environments.
Acknowledge and escalte critical alerts following standard operating procedures.
Perform basic troubleshooting for connectivity issues (e.g., ping, trace route, DNS checks).
Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system (e.g., Service Now).
Review and update shift handover notes.
Monitor firewall and IDS/IPS logs for suspicious activity.
Assist in reviewing endpoint protection alerts and quarantined items.
Perform routine vulnerability scans and document findings.
Support patch management by verifying patch deployment status.
Help maintain asset inventory with updated security posture.
Generate daily/weekly network health and security status reports.
Maintain documentation for standard procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Log all changes made to customer environments in the change management system.
Complete assigned training modules on network protocols, tools (e.g., Wireshark, Solar Winds), and cybersecurity basics (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK).
Shadow senior engineers during incident response and change implementations.
Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and team standups.
Join customer calls as a note-taker or observer.
Prepare summaries of customer issues and resolutions for internal review.
Assist in updating customer-specific documentation and runbooks.
- You Will Have:
Active enrollment in a four year or advanced degree program at an accredited university
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
- You Might Also Have:
Met us through an event or interned with us in the past
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Demonstrated desire to deliver high-quality customer service
Possess a valid U.S. driver's license
Geographically flexible as relocation is an essential part of the program
Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to approach challenges with innovative solutions

For this role, the hourly compensation is from $22 - $32. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience
