Job Description

As the Director, Global Lighthouse Industry Solutions
, you are responsible for defining, developing, and scaling Rockwell Automation's global Lighthouse Industry Solutions strategy, operating model, and solution portfolio.

This role serves as the global leader for Lighthouse Industry Solutions, ensuring industry-specific solutions are standardized, scalable, and aligned with customer needs, Business Unit roadmaps, and strategic growth priorities. You will lead a team of industry experts responsible for solution development, market incubation, strategic pursuit support, and global enablement.

You will partner across Sales, Business Units, Services, OEMs, EPCs, System Integrators, and strategic partners to accelerate growth in priority industries and emerging markets.

Your Responsibilities

People Leadership & Organizational Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a global team of industry experts and solution leaders
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and organizational capability growth
• Establish clear priorities, accountability, and performance expectations
• Foster a culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and execution excellence

Lighthouse Strategy & Solution Portfolio Leadership

• Define and evolve the Lighthouse Industry Solutions strategy, operating model, and governance framework
• Lead development and commercialization of standardized industry solution portfolios
• Prioritize industry investments and emerging market opportunities
• Drive adoption, scalability, and measurable business impact across the organization

Solution Architecture & Market Incubation

• Establish standards, reference architectures, and solution governance processes
• Align industry solutions with Business Unit roadmaps and market requirements
• Identify and incubate new industry growth opportunities and commercialization strategies
• Ensure solutions remain differentiated, repeatable, and scalable

Global Enablement & Strategic Pursuits

• Enable sellers, partners, and industry teams through training, tools, messaging, and best practices
• Support strategic pursuits through solution leadership and ecosystem alignment
• Improve win rates through repeatable solution frameworks and standardized offerings
• Promote adoption of Lighthouse methodologies globally

Ecosystem & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Build alignment across Business Units, Sales, Services, Digital, OEMs, EPCs, and System Integrators
• Represent Rockwell Automation in customer engagements, industry forums, and strategic initiatives
• Drive collaboration that accelerates growth and improves customer outcomes

The Essentials
- You Will Have

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%

The Preferred
- You Might Also Have

• 8+ years of experience in industry strategy, solution management, technical consulting, product management, business leadership, or related disciplines
• Experience leading and developing global teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication, organizational influence, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience developing scalable solution frameworks and commercialization strategies
• Experience incubating and scaling new market opportunities
• Deep experience with industrial automation, digital transformation, power systems, manufacturing, infrastructure, or adjacent industries
• Experience working with OEMs, EPCs, System Integrators, and strategic partners
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align solution investments to business outcomes
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on standardization, scalability, and execution excellence
