New Grad RN Resident - Pre & Post-Surgical General Surgery

The New Grad RN Resident position at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking to develop their skills in a supportive environment. This role focuses on providing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
• Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
• Department/Unit: 3 West Tower Complex Medical Care
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• New grad or less than one year RN work experience required
• If experienced, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
