The PRN RN in the Med Surg/Chest Pain Unit at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital provides direct nursing care and supports a dedicated team in delivering exceptional patient experiences.   PRN, Variable shifts

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• 2 years of recent related nursing experience required for external candidates
• Internal candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered with CNO level review and approval

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
