About This Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, patient-centered nursing care to individuals receiving diagnostic and therapeutic services across various healthcare settings. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care while promoting patient safety, comfort, and support throughout the treatment experience.

  Full-time, Day shift

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
• Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
• Educate patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program)

Experience:

• One year of recent experience as an RN
• OR Licensed RN with at least 2 years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department may substitute for required RN experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred (within six months of employment for areas performing moderate sedation procedures)
