RN – Surgery

About This Role

As an RN in the Surgery department at Cleveland Clinic’s Hillcrest Hospital, you will assist surgeons during procedures and provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical interventions. This role is ideal for empathetic caregivers who are dedicated to delivering quality patient care.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
• Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Set up instrumentation for surgeries.
• Deliver professional nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform scrub functions, including selecting and handling instruments.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.
• Manage overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with surgical tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, and patient positioning.
• Prepare the Operating Room and surgical equipment for use.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• One year RN experience required or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency program.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
