About This Role

The RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital provides medical services for complex acute and chronic health issues. This role is ideal for empathetic caregivers who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
• Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
• Will consider military RN experience.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year of employment.
