About This Role
Join Cleveland Clinic's Forensic Nursing team to provide trauma‑informed care to pediatric and adult patients. This role is ideal for those looking to expand their nursing skills in a unique specialty with comprehensive education and mentorship.

Full‑time, Variable shift
- Provide enhanced follow‑up services and resources, implementing safety plans before patient discharge.
- Perform speculum exams and/or pediatric assessments under the supervision of a LIP.
- Utilize knowledge on collecting and managing forensic evidence with SAEC and DFSA kits.
- Interact and collaborate with medical and nursing staff, law enforcement, and other agencies as needed.
- Complete an IAFN approved SANE Adolescent/Adult course within 60 days of hire.
- Complete an IAFN approved SANE Pediatric course within 1 year of hire.
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: 1 year recent RN work experience required
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or American Red Cross required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred if in an ED
