American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring a permanent Ohio or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

• Active OH RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (no pending certifications accepted)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One managerial reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months required for consideration — co-worker references are not accepted
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates who previously worked at a Cleveland Clinic facility must wait one year from their end date before returning
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score is required, with a maximum of two attempts allowed
• PBDS Assessment is waived for this position
• Background check hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility; open cases will not be accepted, and license hits will not be accepted
• RNs are exempt from the facility's Nicotine-Free requirement (exemption is temporary and honored until further notice)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
• Pre-start orientation modules are required; total module time varies by specialty
• All RTO requests must be discussed and disclosed prior to placement
• Travelers may only be submitted for one position at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
