American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license currently in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be in hand; pending certifications not accepted)
• NIHSS certification required
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months required for consideration — co-worker references are not accepted
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• No open background check cases; no license hits will be accepted
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts allowed)

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of interview
• Permanent and per diem candidates who have previously worked at a Cleveland Clinic facility must wait 1 year from their end date before returning
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• PBDS Assessment is waived for this position; ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate tests will be completed during orientation
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Pre-start online modules are required; total module time typically ranges from 6–15 hours
• Travelers may remain on assignment for a maximum of 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
