The RN – Acute Medical Emergency Team/Hybrid position at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital involves providing urgent care to patients at risk of clinical deterioration. • Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment according to nursing protocol.
• Respond to codes and rapid responses.
• Perform critical interventions including CPR, intubation, and defibrillation.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
• BSN preferred.

• One year of current acute care RN experience required. Military RN experience will be considered.

• Current RN License in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required on hire or within one year for roles supporting pediatric patients.
