American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a day shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Hospital ICU setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract

• Active OH RN license or active compact state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be active and in hand — nothing pending)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 18 months of permanent ICU experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ICU specialty required — must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references are not accepted)
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required
• No open background check cases; facility does not accept any license hits
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Local candidates are accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of interview
• Permanent and per diem candidates who have previously worked at a Cleveland Clinic facility must wait 1 year from their previous end date before being considered
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score is required with a maximum of 2 attempts — failure to pass may result in cancellation
• Pre-start modules are required and average 6–15 hours; approximately 4 hours are billable
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement (exemption is temporary and honored until further notice)
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 consecutive months; a 6-month break is required before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location
