American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Hospital setting within the Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract options ranging from 13 to 18 weeks
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty required, dated within the past 12 months
• Background check must be clear with no open cases
• No license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

• Deliver Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care on the night shift
• PBDS assessment is waived, but ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments must be passed during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments are limited to a maximum of 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location
• A minimum 6-month break is required before returning to another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
• Pre-start and annual training modules are required, averaging 6-15 hours
