American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract options ranging from 13 to 18 weeks

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

• Provide telemetry nursing care to Med/Surg patients on the night shift
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation, with a passing score required within 2 attempts
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless approved by the client
