About This Role
The PRN RN in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital provides essential nursing care to pediatric patients in a supportive and child-friendly environment. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in fast-paced settings and are committed to delivering compassionate care.
Highlights- Pay: $43.00/hour
- Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
- Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
- Department/Unit: Pediatric Emergency Department
- Schedule: Per Diem, Variable shifts
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
- 2 years recent related nursing experience required for external applicants.
- Internal applicants with less than 2 years’ experience may be considered with approval.
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 24 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire.
