RN – Complex Med​/Surg

About This Role

As an RN in the Complex Med/Surg unit at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients while working alongside a dedicated team of caregivers. This role is ideal for empathetic and nurturing individuals who are committed to ensuring quality patient care.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
• Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• 1+ year of current acute care RN experience or military RN experience required.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
