RN Ambulatory

About This Role

The RN Ambulatory provides professional nursing care to a specified group of patients in various ambulatory care settings. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

• Pay: $33.50 - $53.40/hour
• Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Assess health status by completing a nursing assessment.
• Perform telephone triage.
• Notify physician/LIP of abnormal findings.
• Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor patients for response.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Provide health education to patients and families.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements, and research activities to improve patient outcomes.

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

• Minimum one year recent experience as a Registered Nurse.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire for specific procedures.
