The RN Resident - Med/Surg position at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital offers new graduates the opportunity to provide care to adult patients with various medical issues or those preparing for or recovering from surgery. This role is ideal for individuals seeking professional growth through a structured residency program.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
• Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience:

• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
