About This Role

The RN - Rapid Response/ICU position at Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital involves providing urgent care to patients at risk of clinical deterioration as part of the Adult Medical Emergency Team (AMET). • Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
• Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
• Department/Unit: AMET/ICU
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
• Deliver early intervention during potential life-threatening events.
• Participate in education and quality improvement initiatives.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• 1+ years of current acute care RN experience; military RN experience considered

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year
