About This Role
The New Grad RN Resident position at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking to develop their skills in a supportive environment. This role focuses on providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Highlights- Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
- Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
- Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
- Department/Unit: 3 West Tower Complex Medical Care
- Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preference, and resources.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate corrective actions.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Document in patients' medical records.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience:
- New grad or less than one year RN work experience required
- Experience RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience preferred
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required
- Professional growth through a one-year, accredited Nurse Residency program
