American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown/PCU RN for a night shift position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent Stepdown/PCU experience.

• Work in the Stepdown/PCU nursing unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Active OH RN license or active compact state RN license in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 18 months recent Stepdown/PCU experience, preferably within the last 3 years
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background check cases accepted
• No hits on professional license accepted

• Provide nursing care to Stepdown/PCU patients
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this role
