As a New Grad RN Resident in the General Medicine/Geriatric Medicine Unit at Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital, you will participate in a year-long residency program designed to enhance your nursing skills and clinical judgment while providing direct patient care.
Highlights- Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
- Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
- Facility: Hillcrest Hospital
- Department/Unit: General Medicine/Geriatric Medicine Unit
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Document in patients’ medical records.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required
- Bachelors of science in nursing preferred
- New grad or less than one year RN work experience, or experienced RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience
- Current state licensure or pending licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross presented upon hire
