RN Ambulatory - Pulmonology

About This Role

As an RN in the Pulmonology team at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, you will provide exceptional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, interacting directly with patients and their families to enhance their healthcare experience.

• Pay: $34 - $53/hour
• Location: Mayfield Hts, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital
• Department/Unit: Pulmonology
• Schedule: Part-time, Day shift

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience and patient safety.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

Experience:

• One year of recent experience as an RN
• Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
