American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring a minimum of 1 year of specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (NIHSS preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required; co-worker references not accepted
• Must not have an open background check case; license hits not accepted
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical telemetry patients
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• RTO must be discussed and finalized prior to consideration
