Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery / Antepartum

Mayfield Heights, OH | Acute Care

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• Provide high-risk antepartum care for pregnant patients requiring closer monitoring or specialized treatment prior to labor and delivery
• Manage and monitor patients with conditions such as high blood pressure, preeclampsia, preterm labor, or risk of early delivery
• Care for patients experiencing vaginal bleeding, placental complications, or multiple-gestation pregnancies
• Perform and interpret basic fetal monitoring throughout the antepartum and labor and delivery continuum
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and fetal outcomes

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience
• Active and in-hand certifications required at time of submission: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic Fetal Monitoring
• Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license, active and in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must be able to complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract
• No open background case hits or license hits will be accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

• Experience in high-risk obstetrics or antepartum nursing
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition
• Experience with medication safety assessment platforms

• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery and Antepartum setting within a well-established health system
• Contract extensions may be available for high-performing candidates, offering continuity and stability in placement
