Retail Sales Specialist - Part-Time

Earn $18.00/hour base pay, with potential to earn $23.85/hour through commission and incentives. Base pay generally ranges from $18.00 to $24.60. Commission earnings target starts at $6,084. The compensation offered considers your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and offer additional incentive‑based compensation such as bonuses.

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build positive customer relationships, effectively listen and overcome objections, and resell the value of our products.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards while minimizing product losses.
• Ensure a welcoming store atmosphere, deliver a clean retail experience, communicate effectively, adhere to policy, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.

• This role requires a flexible schedule, regular attendance, physical demands (lifting up to 35 lbs., prolonged standing), and adherence to Spectrum's dress code in a moderately noisy retail environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal‑ and incentive‑based work environments.
• Strong performance in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the latest technology and devices.
• 1–5 years of sales/customer service experience.
