Mainframe Lead Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of mainframe applications, providing guidance to onshore and offshore teams.
• Act as the liaison between onshore stakeholders and offshore contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Design and develop architecture and flow diagrams, context diagrams, and reference materials.
• Prepare monthly status reports and procedural documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and provide training to staff on best practices.
• Oversee and contribute to SharePoint development and integration.
• Ensure high-quality communication and collaboration across teams to drive project success.

• Mainframe Technologies: COBOL, JCL, TSO, REXX, VSAM, DB2.
• Architecture & Design:
  Proficient in creating architecture diagrams, flow diagrams, and context diagrams.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Skilled in writing procedural documents and preparing monthly status reports.
• Development & Integration:
  Experience with SharePoint development and mainframe integration.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on team collaboration and proactive engagement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
