Position Summary
You will join a large Product Quality team supporting the Plex application within Rockwell Automation. You will work in an Agile environment daily with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Usability. You will partner with a team of Software Quality Engineers and report to a Quality Manager to ensure high‑quality product delivery.
Your Responsibilities- Blend manual and automation testing skills.
- Create test strategies, write test cases, track status, and produce metrics and documentation. Grow the regression test repository.
- Run automated test scripts, prioritize use cases to script, review scripts, contribute to code reviews, and write low‑ to medium‑complexity automation test scripts. Maintain automation test repositories.
- Become a subject‑matter expert in assigned areas, applying business knowledge and system functionality for exploratory testing to identify defects beyond the main use cases.
- Confirm requirements are testable and communicate test plans, progress, and defect reporting. Create and troubleshoot defects.
- Contribute to quality process improvements and promote quality across all teams.
- You Will Have
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
- You Might Also Have
- 5+ years of software application testing experience, including test deliverable development and both manual and automated test execution.
- Knowledge of quality best practices and testing methodologies.
- Experience with JMeter, Selenium Web Driver, or other leading automation solutions for functional, regression, or performance testing.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Rest Assured.
- Experience with containerized testing (Docker Desktop) to build, run, and validate applications.
- Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL for data validation and backend verification.
- Understanding of quality metrics and report development.
- Working knowledge of the Cypress/C#/.NET ecosystem.
- Knowledge of ERP programs or SaaS.
- Knowledge of security, identity and access management, and manufacturing industry.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and qTest software.
- Experience working with Git Hub Co Pilot or other AI tools.
