Senior Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications, APIs, and enterprise systems that support business objectives. This role serves as a technical leader within the engineering team, helping drive architecture decisions, engineering best practices, secure development, production reliability, and mentorship of junior and mid-level engineers. This position requires strong full-stack engineering experience, with emphasis on modern .NET

APIs, Angular-based web applications, SQL Server-backed systems, secure service integrations, and maintainable enterprise software.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications, services, and APIs.
• Build and maintain ASP.NET Core REST APIs that orchestrate downstream enterprise services, SQL Server databases, and internal or third-party integrations.
• Develop and support Angular/Type Script web applications using modern frontend patterns, reusable components, routing, forms, and service-based API integration.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions across frontend, backend, data access, and integration layers.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code following established engineering standards and design patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Review code, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects, integration issues, performance problems, and production incidents.
• Implement resilient service integration patterns, including retry strategies, timeout handling, structured error handling, and graceful downstream failure handling.
• Maintain secure authentication and authorization flows using OAuth/OIDC, JWT claims, role/permission checks, and secure configuration practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment readiness, and Dev Ops practices.
• Support production reliability through structured logging, correlation IDs, metrics, distributed tracing, and other observability practices.
• Document technical designs, processes, API contracts, and system architecture.
