City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic and social-emotional support to students
• Tutor students individually and in small groups in core subjects
• Track and report student progress using established tools
• Support classroom routines, transitions, and positive behavior
• Lead or assist with after-school programs and activities
• Communicate with teachers and school staff to align support
• Engage families and community partners when appropriate
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team meetings
