Activities Assistant

Green Acres Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant!

Green Acres Healthcare is currently seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Activity Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with residents, families, and staff to create a welcoming environment and activity programming.

A CNA certification is required. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to make a positive impact in a healthcare setting!

Responsibilities

• Participate in and assist with resident activity programs.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

• Support residents during dinner service around 4:30 pm and assist with evening care routines, including helping residents settle in comfortably for the night.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage front desk responsibilities independently.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is a plus.

• High school diploma or GED required (or equivalent related work experience).

• Comfortable working with individuals who have cognitive, physical, or sensory impairments.
