As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Jackson Purchase Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care on our Women’s Services unit. This 8-bed unit focuses on teamwork and effective communication to support optimal medical attention and patient wellbeing.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate patient and/or family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
