Job Summary

Join our remarkable team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. This is a full‑time position (schedule 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) in the Women’s Services Unit, an 8‑bed unit focused on comprehensive patient care.

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care activities.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

• Active RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred; ASLS certification preferred.
