The Medical Group/Physician Services at Jackson Purchase Medical Center fosters a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family as appropriate.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Acts as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• RN license required.
• BCLS required.
