PRN - Varied Shifts

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working under the supervision of an RN on the Med/Surg unit, you will provide direct patient care and support the RN in patient assessment and care planning.

• Collect data for assessment and analysis under RN direction.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
• Administer medication as authorized.
• Document patient care provided.
• Assist RN in developing the plan of care.
• Help patients with activities of daily living (personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

• Graduate of an LPN program.
• Valid LPN license in the state of Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
