Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - Obstetrics

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1+ years of OB/L&D experience and a KY or compact RN license.

• Active RN license (Kentucky or Compact)
• Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS
• Minimum 1+ years of OB/L&D nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an 8-bed department within an acute care hospital
• Cares for OB, nursery, and occasional Gyn surgery, breast reduction, and abdominoplasty patients
• Maintains patient ratios per AWHONN standards
• Uses Medi Tech EHR system
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Call requirements as needed
• Floating required as needed
• Provide nursing care within the Labor and Delivery department under the direction of the Director of Women's Services
• Professional demeanor expected on the unit
• Scrubs of any color permitted; casual wear not allowed
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
