Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Mayfield, KY 42066

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. On occasion you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

and Schedule Details
  • Hourly pay rate: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
  • Paid training: live hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training
  • Voluntary benefits: medical, dental, vision, etc.
  • Variable work schedule; average 7–9 hours per week
  • Required availability week before and after major holidays (may include weekends), and for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a Hallmark‑provided mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Utilize technology for communication with supervisors, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering required merchandising surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours during major holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on the holiday itself and occasional weekends.
  • Department resets: Assist with installations and other tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Receive at least two weeks' notice for remodel assignments; may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team support: Function as part of Hallmark’s field organization, supporting other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
Physical Requirements

This physically demanding job requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds each day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Capability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Proficient with a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information
  • Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled
