The Press Operator sets up and operates flexographic presses to produce quality products that meet customer and production standards while monitoring ink colors ensuring proper substrate cutting. The Press Operator collaborates with the team to maintain safety, efficiency, and product consistency in an inclusive work environment.
3rd Shift runs Monday through Friday, 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM.Third-shift employees with 90 days of service will receive an additional $3.00 per hour, contingent on attendance and aligned with OMNIs 'Attendance Incentive Program' and procedures. Program duration, incentive amounts, payment schedules, and shift allocations remain subject to company discretion and may be changed, amended, or discontinued at any time
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience- The minimum education required for this position is a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience with flexographic presses is highly preferred. Machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Communication Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety guidelines, documentation, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and leadership when issues arise
- Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Computer Skills
- Basic computer skills are a must.
- Basic proficiency in operating systems such as Radius or similar platforms preferred
- Ability to navigate menus, enter data accurately, and perform routine system tasks (such as logging production runs) preferred

- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding are a plus
- Must be able to maintain good attendance.
- Stand, walk, carry, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use manual dexterity
- Grasp, reach, and lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 50 pounds occasionally
- Close, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus
- Climb, sit for long periods, and speak/articulate occasionally
- Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Press Operators are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and frequently encounter fumes or airborne particles. While the manufacturing area is climate controlled, employees may experience relatively warm or cold temperatures throughout the year. Additionally, the noise level in the work environment is usually loud, however, hearing protection is provided and not necessary in all areas of facility.
